Named in deference to Henry VIII’s wives, our magnificent restaurant, The Six, prides itself on eclectic cuisine, using local ingredients whenever we can.
You can choose from a wide choice of dishes. There is a nod to traditional cuisine, but with a modern twist, so you can enjoy an elegant, three course meal, or, if you prefer, tuck into good old-fashioned fish and chips.

Whether you are popping in just to eat, or are a hotel resident, we are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Our knowledgeable and professional staff can guide you through the menu and the wine list. Henry VIII, with his renowned healthy appetite, would have approved.

Enjoy a relaxing beer, glass of wine or a tasty cocktail at our bar before your restaurant meal.
Although you might prefer to stay exactly where you are, and indulge in a few cocktails and some bar snacks.
Intimate, with subdued lighting, our bar is a perfect place for a date, or after work drinks, or just to catch up with friends.  Or end your evening here, with a night-cap from our extensive range of spirits and cocktails.

Cosy in the winter with a roaring fire, and cool and relaxing in summer, our lounge and its communal tables offer you an ideal place to host a business meeting, or take a business lunch.
If you are not in the mood for work, it is also a great spot to chill out with friends or family.

We provide al fresco dining space outside the hotel, with seating for families as well as large groups. Here you can enjoy a glass of wine in the sun, and anything from light bites to a three-course meal.
The Terrace and the Bar are dog friendly. With table service from our friendly and enthusiastic team, it is a great place to pop in for a pint or a sandwich after a visit to the Palace.
